The Address

This case bound book was created at the request of Pina Templeton to commemorate the reading and subsequent interpretation of The Gettysburg Address by Associate Justice Samuel Alito. The event took place at The Union League of Philadelphia November 19, 2014, the 150th Anniversary of its delivery by Abraham Lincoln. The Justice, a lincoln historian, both read and interpreted key lines and phrases from the famous speech and we matched up his speech with imagery to support and reinforce his point of view. The interpretive speech thus became the narrative for the book and our book design added insight its meaning.
